Glenryck Foods was acquisitioned in April 2004 by the Oceana Group Ltd, www.oceana.co.za, who are one of the biggest conglomerates in South Africa. The Oceana Group is involved in the fishing and allied services sector. The Group engages in the catching, processing and procurement of marine species including pilchard, sardine, anchovy, redeye herring, lobster, horse mackerel, squid, tuna, hake and other deep-sea species. Products are sold through international and local marketing channels.
